Where Builders Shape What’s Next | AIBoomi Annual ’26 – Passes Now Live

#18: #AIRadarDaily — Maxim AI

In traditional software engineering, we have “test-driven development”. Code is deterministic. You write a test; it passes or fails.

AI breaks this paradigm.

When you build an AI agent, the output is non-deterministic. A model might perform perfectly in a lab but hallucinate wildly when interacting with a real user in the wild.

Maxim AI is bringing engineering rigor back to the generative AI era.

Founded by Vaibhavi Gangwar and Akshay Deo (who previously built and scaled developer tools at Google, Slack, and Postman), Maxim is an end-to-end evaluation and observability platform for AI agents.

Maxim allows developers to simulate complex, multi-turn conversations across diverse user personas before an agent ever hits production. It uses AI to test AI — running automated evaluations, testing tool usage, and flagging quality degradation at the granular level.

The market? Any enterprise or engineering team that wants to ship mission-critical AI applications without guessing if they will actually work.

Vaibhavi and Akshay have spent their careers in the devtools industry. They saw that while millions of developers were suddenly tasked with building AI applications, they were stripped of the testing infrastructure they relied on for standard software. They built Maxim to be that missing “quality layer”.

It is exciting to see Indian founders building the foundational picks and shovels for the global AI ecosystem.

Let’s celebrate the builders.
