But the most inspiring part of their journey is the hustle.
Aman and Sashank had elite technical chops but zero background in insurance. To figure out the market, they literally drove around the Bay Area with a box of donuts, knocking on the doors of insurance agencies and trading pastries for 15 minutes of a broker’s time. They didn’t just assume they knew the problem; they sat with the users to find it.
Today, those “donut conversations” have evolved into a platform processing billions in premiums for leading carriers and MGAs.
